WETSUIT CHRONICLES - Part Deux

The second attempt in the wetsuit went MUCH better! I was actually able to swim and feel like I was moving! Only one small panic attack during the warm up when we stopped by the cave. Being upright in the water suddenly felt extremely constricted and I started to feel like I couldn't breathe. I didn't have my swim buoy thing either which I would have held on to to relax while I caught myself. Not wanting to appear visibly stressed, I had to take some deep breaths and talk myself out of it. When we started back swimming it took a little while to get back into it but fortunately after that we barely had to stop again so all was well :) Taking off and putting on the wetsuit seemed harder this week though! Maybe it was because I was trying to be extra careful not to get any digs in it. Derek's got so many digs and I have way more fingernails than he does. Maybe the fish thought his wetsuit was food???
